When I opened these up I was pleasantly surprised that theses were loose leaf as well. The tea is black in color but the taste is not bitter at all. For black teas these are mild like an herbal tea. Plus the container is a great way to stack and preserve the tea as opposed to tea bags even individually wrapped ones. The tea is also packed to the very top so don't worry about alot of air as a filler you definitely will want to purchase your tea like this again.

My winter favorite with complex, warm, not too spicy flavors

A very nice Chocolate tea with a little spice. I like mine with a little cream. Needs no sweeteners at all. In fact, sweeteners would probably harm the flavor. Also great to drink when trying to curb your appetite.
