    This slightly lemony-flavoured herbal tea has soothing properties and acts as an aid to digestion. A native of Chile, introduced to Europe at the end of the 18th century and grown mostly in Morocco and around Grasse, in the south of France, lemon verbena is much-appreciated for its subtle lemony taste.

    It is used in cooking, cosmetics (in the shape of its essential oil), and of course, as a herbal tea best drunk after a meal.
